Want to warm yourself up on a cold winter day in a more thoughtful and healthy way? Then you should definitely try this recipe. I crave hot chocolate regularly, especially when it's cold outside, but, I don't drink dairy, ever. So, I decided to try a make my own vegan hot chocolate recipe. And, I must say, it's swoon worthy!

RECIPE: 2 squares of Rescue brand vegan chocolate 1 level Tbsp of cocoa powder 1 level Tbsp of carob powder Dash of cinnamon (or, however much you like to your taste) 1 Tbsp of coconut sugar 1 1/2 cups of Almond Milk
Add water to about an inch high in a small pot. Add a heat proof ceramic bowl on top of the pot, making sure it isn’t touching the water. Add all ingredients to the bowl. Heat the water, and allow the ingredients to heat and mix well. Stir occasionally as needed. Once all ingredients are mixed, hot, and smooth, pour into a cup. Add full fat, blended coconut milk on top and sprinkle cinnamon. Garnish with mint leaf.
