Blanco Blood Orange Mint Margarita on the Rocks


What You’ll Need

3 oz Zarpado Blanco tequila1 oz Gran Marnier 4 oz freshly squeezed blood orange juice 1 oz agave nectar 4-5 freshly muddled mint leaves Crushed ice Garnish: rock salt Garnish: fresh blood orange slice Preparation * Garnish 2 5 oz glasses with rock salt by dipping the rim fo the glass into a small amount of blood orange juice and then rolling it around int the rock salt. Set glasses aside to allow to set. * Place the mint leaves in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Using a wooden cocktail muddler, gently mash the mint 3 to 4 times to release the juices. Do not over mash the leaves, they should still look pretty much in tact when you are finished. * Add all of the remaining ingredients, including the ice, to the shaker with the mint leaves. * Shake well! * Split the drink evenly into each glass.
