I’m one of those strange people who actually likes the taste of brussel sprouts all by themselves.  Just a little olive oil and salt and pepper, and I’m good to go.

That doesn’t mean I won’t dress them up with the right ingredients once in a while!  And, this recipe hits the spot.  Delicious, and beautiful presentation at the dinner or party table. I hope you will try and enjoy! Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Red Pepper Honey Glaze Ingredients

1 pound of medium sized brussel sprouts, cut in half 2 Tbsp olive oil Salt Pepper 2 Tbsp honey 2 Tbsp cup white wine vinegar 2 pinches of red pepper flakes 2 Tbsp real butter Preparation

Brussel Sprouts Cut ends off of the brussel sprouts and cut them in half Add olive oil, salt, and pepper to a large mixing bowl. Add brussel sprouts and mix with your hands well, until the all the brussel sprouts are covered with the oil mixture. Place brussels cut side down onto a baking sheet. Roast on the bottom rack until deep amber color and soft. About 20-25 minutes, depending on the size of the brussels.

Glaze

Once there is about 5 minutes left on the brussel sprouts, begin the honey glaze. Add honey to a small saucepan and cook on medium high for about 3-4 minutes, until honey is bubbling and turning a reddish color. Remove from heat, and add the white wine vinegar and pepper flakes. Whisk well. Return to heat and add the butter. Whisk well over medium heat until the glaze is slightly thickened and looks more shiny like a glaze. Remove from heat. Pour brussel sprouts into a large bowl, and them pour the glaze over them. Mix well with a large spoon. Serve hot. Enjoy!
