If you like mushrooms, you have to give this recipe a try!
Great for a healthy, gluten free, sugar free snack. Goes with all sorts of dips and can be added to a party tray for an interesting twist.
Roasted King Oyster Mushroom Chips
8 - 10 king oyster mushrooms
4 diced garlic gloves
Salt and pepper to taste
Slice mushrooms length wise, as thin as you can without them falling apart. The thinner you can slice them the easier they will cook and the crispier they will be!
Place on a olive oil greased cookie sheet.
Brush the top of the mushrooms with more olive oil.
Sprinkle diced garlic on top of the mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste.
Roast on 325 for 45 - 60 minutes, or until the mushrooms are crispy. If the mushrooms are really thick, they may take longer, or they may just not be quite as crisp.
Remove from oven and allow to cool at room temperature.
Serve as is, or with you favorite dip.
